Helping animals has always been our passion, so when given the opportunity to contribute to shelters and rescue dogs, we went to work on ideas that would aid us in helping these lonely and loving creatures, who are simply looking for a place to call home.
Unfortunately, no matter how much we wanted to help, our team knew we were never going to be able to make a significant impact on the funding issues that most shelters face today, but with millions of dogs being euthanized every year, we knew that we had to do something to help.
Let’s be honest, most people will never ‘donate’ to a cause so for that reason we explored another route and decided to create, unique, funny dog t-shirts that everyone can wear with pride, knowing their purchase has helped in the effort to save a life.
As opposed to circulating animal abuse content on social media, we believe that making people smile is one way to raise awareness and support shelter dogs. We're currently donating 50% of profits.
Animal Facts That Shook Us To Action:
- Homeless animals outnumber homeless people 5 to 1.
- Only 1 out of every 10 dogs born will find a permanent home.
- Approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year. Of those, approximately 3.9 million are dogs and 3.4 million are cats.
- Only 10% of the animals received by shelters have been spayed or neutered. Overpopulation, due to owners letting their pets accidentally or intentionally reproduce, sees millions of these “excess” animals killed annually.
